This is a 1/72 diorama of the 92nd Highlanders and the Scotts Greys reaching the french guns at Waterloo. Almost all of the figures have been converted in some way. The figures are from ESCI and Italeri, and the gun is from Zvezda.
There is an Andrea 1/32 scale scene depicting the same event, and I have copied the composition as closely as possible. I have always admired the piece, and wanted to see what I could learn by duplicating it in a smaller scale.
I painted the figures using Andrea and Games Workshop acrylics.
Das Diorama zeigt
92th (Gordon) Hochländer und "Scots Greys" (Royal
North British Dragoon Gurads) beim Angriff auf französische
Artillerie bei Waterloo 1815. Bei fast allen Figuren handelt es
sich um Umbauten. Verwendet wurden Figuren von ESCI und ITALERI,
das Geschütz stammt von ZVEZDA.
Das 1/72 Diorama ist der
Nachbau einer 1/32-Szene mit ANDREA-Figuren. Ich habe versucht,
diese 54mm-Komposition so genau wie möglich zu "kopieren".
Das Andrea-Diorama habe ich immer bewundert und ich wollte sehen,
was ich bei der Umsetzung in den kleinen Maßstab vom Original
lernen konnte.
Die Bemalung erfolgte mit Andrea and Games Workshop Acrylfarben.
